Accreditation

The Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) have formally registered Bethan Evans  as the responsible individual for the service, which can accommodate a maximum of six (6) younger adults with learning disabilities.

Useful Information

Under government regulations, potential individuals need to have their needs thoroughly assessed before entering a home; this is intended to provide the best possible information on which to make an informed choice about their future.

For potential individuals who are already in touch with a social service department, the initial assessment will be undertaken as part of the care management process, but we also need to assure ourselves and the service user that this particular home is suitable for them.

For potential individuals who approach the home directly, admission to the home will follow a thorough assessment of need, carried out by the manager.  The manager will also discuss the care needs with the multi-disciplinary team prior to any admission being agreed.  The assessment will cover the range of health and social needs and all information will be treated confidentially. The assessment process helps the home's staff to be sure that the home can meet a potential individual's requirements and to make an initial plan of the care we will provide.
